When the subject of the top journeymen in the NBA comes up, the first player that comes to mind is probably Jim Jackson (198-G-70, college: Ohio St.), Robert Horry (207-F-70, college: Alabama) and now of course Lou Williams (185-SG-86). But there is a name that holds weight in Champaign, Illinois. Cory Bradford (191-SG-78, college: Illinois).

Cory Bradford has played in 15 different countries in his professional career including the NBA, Hungary, France, Cyprus, Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, Taiwan, Qatar, UAE, Lebanon, Jordan, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic and now Bosnia.

This would make Bradford, a former Illinois Fighting Illini, the most prolific journeyman in the history of international basketball. I'm not anointing Bradford as the greatest journeyman ever, simply because he played for 15 countries. I am calling him the most-traveled player with the most skills, that seemed to muster the most interest from professional general managers than any other player in professional history.

It behooved Bradford to never change his home address from the original address he had in Memphis, TN while playing as one of the final spots for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2003. Bradford suited up with a lot of different franchises and signed on the dotted line on so many contracts, that until this very day, he probably doesn't remember them all.

Let's take a look at a fantastic career that has yet to end.

Bradford gets the top billing as the most-traveled and most-desired player in professional basketball, and this would undoubtedly make him the best endorser of luggage in all of sports.

Currently, at the age of 38, Bradford is playing for KK Bosna-Royal Sarajevo; a FIBA Europe Cup team in Bosna. This is very impressive for a player his age. 'So many people ask me whats my secret', said Bradford. "I tell them I feel great. I just choose to take care of myself".

Taking care of himself is an understatement. In 5 games in the 2018 Europe Cup, Bradford is averaging an impressive 15 points per game while shooting 58% from the field and 64.3% from the three. Did I mention he only plays 22.0 minutes per game. These numbers are on the Curry level which reminds me of a Vince Carter (198-G/F-77, college: N.Carolina) at age 41 with the Kings. Bradford had a break out game last week versus Dynamic BG where he scored a season high 33 points in just 28 minutes of play.

Bradford has always been a big time player. He was named NCAA Freshman of the Year in '99 along with All-American honors in 2001. He would later led Team USA to gold and also compete against the Dream Team in 2000. Bradford would go on to join the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA. He would later be released to travel the world. His numbers per season have been incredible. Bradford has been named Eurobasket.com All-Import honors an amazing seven times and player of the year twice. He is the definition of professional and greatness.
