BC Mess 81- Testar 82
The closest and most important match was between BC Mess and Telstar. It went right down the wire with Telstar coming out on top 82-81. Telstar won despite playing with only one of their 2 import players. Apparently, Pierce Cumpstone had some paperwork problems and could not play. The Luxembourg players stepped it up for Telstar. Captain Gary Pleimling knocked down 4 three pointers and tallied 18 points and Tom Donnersbach pitched in with 11 points. But import player Prince Foster led the winners with 31. Brett Morris led BC Mess with 26 and Richard Ross Jr. was held to 17. Gilles Weis hit 5 three pointers and ended up with 21 for Mess. Even though the game was important, both teams will make the playoffs. Telstar improved to 11-5 and trail 2nd place Kordallsteelers (30 points) by 3 points in the standings for 3rd place with 27 points. BC Mess is now in 4th place with a 10-6 record nd have 26 points. Next weekend Telstar will host Grengewald and BC Mess must play at Soleuvre which is always difficult on a Sunday late afternoon.

Larochette 97 - Soleuvre 74
Arantia Larochette continued their winning ways with a home romping of visiting Soleuvre. Ladarius Tab led the winners with 33 points. Xavier Pollard was held to a season low 7 points, all in the first quarter. Pedro Nunes came from the bench and dropped 15 points for the winners and Derek Wilson Jr. added 11. Soleuvre's Bryan Jefferson and Jerome Kafer scored 14 points each.
Pol Farrante and Benni Reichlich scored 10 points each and import Aiden Davis-Howard was held to only 8. Arantia remains undefeated improving their season total to an impressive 16-0 and will travel to Kordallsteelers (14-2) this coming Sunday for the showdown of the Top 2 teams.
AS Zolwer will host BC Mess also on Sunday.

Bascharage 83 - Kordallsteelers 96

Bascharage Hedgehogs made a late game surge to get back into this one after trailing by as much as 21 points midway thru the 3rd period. Kordallsteelers continued their winning streak to 8 in a row with this important road win. American imports Antonio Bivens 32 and Marcus Neal 31, led the Steelers to victory as they improve to 14-2 on the season. Yvan Neves scored 14 and Captain Sascha Muepu added 12 to help the cause. Next weekend Kordallsteelers hosts Arantia Larochette and Bascharage will travel to Mondorf.

Grengewald 93 - Schieren 89

Black Frogs played one of their best matches of the season, nearly defeating the home team as they searched for their first win. A big 31 point quarter boosted Grengewald to the victory. Stefan Stefanovich was on fire finishing with 47 points as he knocked down 10 three pointers for the Black Frogs and chipping in was Julien Kemp with 15. Grengewald's Ronald March Jr. dominated this one with 49 points to lead all scorers. Shaquille Dance notched 24 for the greens and Yannick Julien added 17. Grengewald will have a tough next game at Telstar and for Schieren, they will continue to search for their first win at Black Star Mersch.

Black Star will host Mondorf on Tuesday, the 9th of January at 8:30 in Mersch.

N2 ends 2017 with Arantia still way on top!- Jan.9, 2018  (by Paul)

The first part of the season is over and going into the Christmas break, Arantia Larochette remained unbeaten and are looking more and more like the team to beat in the playoffs for the fight for going up to the Total League. Kordallsteelers are not far behind winning 7 in a row before the break. Nationale 2 - 13th Round leaves Artantia Larochette undefeated still!!!- Dec.13, 2017  (by Paul)

Last weekend was the 13th game-day in Luxembourg's Nationale 2. Arantia Larochette (13-0) is the only team to remain unbeaten. Avanti Mondorf hung in there during the first half, only down 8 at intermission. Arantia Larochette, who is destined to go undefeated in N2, scored 69 second half points on the way to a 117-77 romp at home to improve their record to 13-0.
