Faith Randolph (178-G, college: Virginia) scored 25 points, Anita Teilane (195-C-85, agency: LBM Management) had 18 and the Antranik Beirut withstood a furious rally to beat the powerful Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut 58-57 on Saturday night for their fifth victory of the season. Randolph dominated the game on both ends pulling down 6 rebounds and holding Hodges to just 15 points. The score went back and forth throughout the first half of play with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut getting the best of Antranik Beirut most of the game. Outside of her great play Antranik found themselves down with just two seconds remaining. Randolph missed her final free throw and Nancy Maalouf (174-G/F-88) sealed the game with a put back.

Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut was led by Shanece McKinney (193-F-92, college: LSU, agency: ProDep Management). She was the high scorer with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Roneeka Hodges (180-G-82, college: Florida St.) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in a losing effort.

Antranik Beirut are now 5-2 in the Champions League of Lebanon.
