Homentmen Antelias add Williams to their roster, ex Dynamo NR - Sep 30, 2017
Homentmen Antelias (WLBL) added to their roster 30-year old American center Latoya Williams (192-87, college: Chipola JC). She played last season at Dynamo Novosibirsk Region in Russian PBL league. In 16 games she recorded 14.8ppg, 9.1rpg, 1.8apg, 1.8spg and 1.0bpg. Williams also played 6 games in Eurocup where she averaged impressive 15.8ppg, 9.0rpg, 1.5apg and 1.2spg. The previous (15-16) season she played at Union Lyon Basket Feminin in French LFB. In 28 games she had very remarkable stats: 15.6ppg, 7.1rpg, 2.3apg and 2.3spg. A very spectacular season in her career as she was selected Eurobasket.com All-French LFB Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Center of the Year. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Williams' team made it to the Middle European League Semifinals in 2014. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Croatian League Player of the Year back in 2013.
Williams is quite experienced player. She has played also professionally in Greece (Esperides), Hungary (PEAC Pecs), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv), Poland (MUKS Poznan), Serbia (Partizan), WNBA (Connecticut Sun), Croatia (Lupa Promotion) and Czech Republic (SBS Ostrava).
