As a fifth-placed selection in group B, the national basketball players up to 16 years old, after a day off, will fight for the final ranking from the 17th to the 22nd place.

The team of Stojna Vangelovska started the tournament with two lost games against Ukraine (58-40) and Slovenia (62-73). Then continued with the win against Moldova as the match ended (30-87) for the Macedonian team. That was the first win at the EC that has been going on for the third day in Skopje.

The national team had control over the field game in the first period in which a series of 8-0 nullified the negative in front of themselves and took the lead. The team started the last match of the group stage against the undefeated Belgium with easily realized shots. They had an adequate response to the majority of the opponent's actions, which in the second period did not play in the racket and began to accumulate an advantage which until the half-time climbed too high 31-47. They opened the second part of the competition with a drop in the concentration that affected the overall realization. In the first few minutes, they remained without a good shot as the opponent made a series of 13 points in a row. By the end of the match, the macedonian team failed to annul the negative.
