This is my favorite time of the season, all of the handwork you've put in during offseason comes to light now. All the long days of grinding, and working hard to make sure you stay ahead of your opponent is what its about now. This is where only the mentally focused and prepared teams will prevail. It's not about one single player outplaying another player, but its about the TEAM. So if you're focused on helping your team achieve that one goal to be a champion then you have to mentally prepare yourself and get your mind right. I'm not only preparing myself to get ready, however, I'm making sure that my teammates are well prepared to take on this journey with me. God gave me this type of determination that never allows me to settle, so even though we won the championship last season, i am definitely not satisfied. I worked even harder after we won the championship because I will not allow myself to get lazy, nor will I allow someone to outwork me. With that being said, if you guys remember my last post about bringing your teammates with you to the gym, I'm doing that and taking advice from them as well. You can never grow in life if you think you know it all, so I'm also open minded to learn new things from them and other coaches also. So everyone get prepared for these playoffs, and remember that without God we are all NOTHING. Keep the faith, keep pushing, and good luck to everyone out here getting ready for the playoffs.

New Year, New Country, Same Goal...- Sep.26, 2016  (by T.J.)

Well I finally made it back to Europe again safe and sound and getting ready to prepare for another tough season. Even though I was with a different team the past two seasons, my goals for this year are the same. When I played in Komarno we made it to the finals 2 years in a row, and the first season we made it there we won it. So with that being said now that I'm here playing in the Czech republic my goal is still the same and that's to make it to the finals here as well. I kind of got u... [read more]

If you're not working, You're getting passed by!!!- Feb.9, 2016  (by T.J.)

Just a reminder for everyone who's in season, that doesn't mean you can be lazy, you can always get better. If you want to be a champion you have to always train and never get satisfied, you have to always make sure your game is on point and sharp. If you get lazy and content with the way you're playing then that'll give the opportunity for someone else to pass you by especially if they're working hard to beat you. My mom always told me each day you wake up is a blessing from God so never... [read more]
