The UBA announced another league expansion in to the heart of Houston,Texas for the 2011-2012 season. The UBA is proud to complete the addition of the Houston Xperience. The Xperience will begin play January 29, 2011 in Austin versus the Central Texas Cyclones. Houston will be a traveling team for the remainder of this season and will begin a full schedule next season.

'Houston, TX is a great place to form a UBA franchise', said Trinity Group partner Jerone Dodd. The UBA needs a city like Houston to the Western Conference. We expect big things from the project.

The city of Houston will host the UBA Western Conference Showcase March 26th and 27th for the first time. This UBA event will include the the top teams from the Western Conference (Central Texas Cyclones, DFW Warriors, Norman Express, Austin Knights). The GIE Morrow Discipless (defending UBA Champions) will also be in attendance to compete in the showcase. Houston has also be selected Host the Eurobasket Summer League on July 22nd- July 24th.

'The UBA and the city of Houston have done a great job of selling it's product to us', said ESL Director Darryl Reshaw. We believe this will be a great location for the ESL and we will see the results. If it works out the Eurobasket Summer League may have a new home.

The Houston Xperience ball club will be led by new head coach Kevin Williams. Williams, a Houston native has selected a dynamic roster of former division 1 and overseas players to compete this season.
